There is a very good double feature article in the March 2006 edition of Campus Technology Magazine discussing academic uses of the iPod, entitled, Is it iTime yet? I have provided links to the online version in this posting, but you may also subscribe to magazine from the website provided.
The article discusses not only the upside of using iPods for instruction, but also covers many of the challenges that some other colleges have faced in exploring and implementing iPods. I thought the use of students as iDreamers at Georgia College & State University was an interesting student-centered or user-centered way to explore new academic uses. Please share any comments you may have from article.
